Working a Saturday-Wednesday schedule and early shift starting at 3:00AM ET, the Customer Technical Support Specialist-Lab Automation for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing our customers front-line technical support for handling Automation line technical issues and inquiries for a 24 x 7 support organization.

This position is part of the Customer Technical Support Organization located in Brea, CA and will be fully REMOTE(As a Remote associate, you must have a quiet office setup devoid of noise and distractions with internet speeds that meet minimum IT requirements.) At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide clear and concise telephone troubleshooting support for our Automation customers, with the goal of resolving their issues over the phone and preventing a field service dispatch whenever possible.
  • Work independently and as part of a test to meet goals, metrics, and objectives.
  • Effectively manage time and demonstrate flexibility to ensure all required tasks are completed on-time while keeping customer support as the top priority.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Degree with 3+ years of technical experience OR Associates degree with 1+ years of technical experience
  • Available & willing to work a Saturday-Wednesday schedule and early shift starting at 3:00AM ET, with rotating on-call, weekends, and holidays

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • BSEMET/BSEE/BSET
  • Technical experience is defined as electro-mechanical or any of related fields (Chemistry, installs, Automation instruments, etc.).
  • 1-3 years in customer-facing field service and or phone support troubleshooting

The base hourly range for this role is $31.00 – $38.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
