The Rotating Equipment Specialist position reports to the Supervisor, Reliability Technical Services within Midstream’ s Reliability and mainenace group. The focus of the position is to develop, implement, maintain and manage a comprehensive reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program dealing with rotating equipment across the entire pipeline…s and terminals organization. The position will work closely with field-based technicians, supervisors and managers to ensure optimal operation or rotating equipment and to identify and understand any potential poor performing assets. The position provides technical support to field technicians and project engineers.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Striving to reduce MTBR for all rotating equipment.

• Driving Condition Monitoring Process, Predictive Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance on mainline pumps, motors and booster pumps.

• Supporting maintenance of tank pumps/motors and rack pumps/motors at truck terminals.

• Managing Rotating Equipment Projects at pipelines and terminals.

• Participating in Capitol and maintenance budget process. Advising Divisions engineer of potential costs, critical equipment repairs, and maintenance needs.

• Prioritizing projects based on efficiency data collection and condition monitoring results.

• Forecasting budget throughout the year.

• Participating in Midstream Vibration & Rotating Equip. Reliability conference calls.

• Being responsible for Equip. Data, Load Sheets, Notifications, PO, WO, PM Orders & Equip. Rebuild Report entry into SAP PM.

• Training new employees on rotating equip. procedures & best practices.

• Assisting engineers on capital projects and optimization.

• Scheduling pump & motor projects with repair organizations & shop locations.

• Participating in Project Processes (PEP’s, PSSR’s); assisting in field installations.

• Soliciting bids & quotes for rotating equipment.

• Developing employees from each system for Rotating Equip. Lead Roles.

• Assisting others with rotating equipment concerns & maintenance.

Required:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

• Associates degree or higher in rotating equipment maintenance, industrial electronics, instrumentation or electrical maintenance

• 10 or more years of experience with rotating equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting

• Demonstrated familiarity with API and other specifications and codes dealing with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, gear boxes, engines and etc.)

• Demonstrated mastery of RCFA, Fault Tree or other failure analytics

• Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to travel up to 35% of the time

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline

• Level III Vibration Analytics Certification

• Evaluation and establishment of databases

• Passion and enthusiasm for the development and management of robust, consistent and effective reliability programs associated with rotating equipment

• Superior critical and analytical thinking skills

• Self-starter capability, ability to work with moderate to minimal supervision

• Ability to accurately assess work load and properly prioritize tasks

• Strong sense of curiosity

• Commitment to a team approach

• Succinct and accurate communication skills

• Willingness to actively participate in training and development exercises

• Ability to interact with field supervision, technicians and operators
